SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application concerns the sanctioning, on 10 September 2014, of the four applicant Members of Parliament for displaying posters at the parliamentary session of 23 June 2014. The Immunity Commission decided to deduct 50,000 Hungarian forints from their monthly remuneration.

QUESTION tO THE PARTIES

Has there been a violation of the applicants ’ right to freedom of expression contrary to Article 10 of the Convention (see Karácsony and Others v. Hungary [GC], nos. 42461/13 and 44357/13 , § 162, 17 May 2016)?
