FIRST SECTION

Application no. 13958/16 A.I. and Others against Greece lodged on 11 March 2016

SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application concerns the living conditions of the applicants, an Afghani father with his two minor children, in the camp of Idomeni and the shortcomings in the asylum procedure.

QUESTIONS TO THE PARTIES

1. Having regard to the applicants ’ situation (an adult who had just undergone surgery with two minor children), were their living conditions in Idomeni camp compatible with the requirements of Article 3 of the Convention?

2. Having regard to the applicants ’ allegations that they would face the risk of being returned to Afghanistan without an examination of the merits of their allegations under Article 3 of the Convention, was the procedure afforded to the applicants as asylum seekers, after their arrival in Greece, compatible with Article 3 of the Convention, taken in conjunction with Article 13?
