SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application concerns the applicant’s complaint under Article 6 §§ 1 and 3 (d) of the Convention that his conviction of complicity in human trafficking was based to a decisive extent on the evidence given against him by A. to the police and the investigating judge, whereas his requests to re ‑ examine A. at the trial hearing before the Court of Appeal had been refused. The applicant was convicted in the same criminal proceedings as the applicant in Hu v. the Netherlands , no. 22069/19.

QUESTION TO THE PARTIES

Did the applicant have a fair hearing in the determination of the criminal charges against him, in accordance with Article 6 §§ 1 and 3 (d) of the Convention (see Schatschaschwili v.
