Amount of old-age pension and social benefits allegedly insufficient to maintain adequate standard of living: inadmissible

The applicant complained, inter alia , about the amount of the old-age pension and additional social benefits she re ceived from the social security authorities. She alleged that it was insufficient to maintain an adequate standard of living.

Inadmissible under Article 3: A complaint about a wholly insufficient amount of pension and other social benefits may, in principl e, raise an issue under Article 3. However, in the present case there is no indication that the amount of the applicant’s pension and additional social benefits caused damage to her physical and mental health capable of attaining the minimum level of sever ity required by Article 3: manifestly ill-founded.
