SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE S
The applications are cases from Russian inmates concerning the quality of their medical treatment in detention (akin to Reshetnyak v. Russia , no. 56027/10 , 8 January 2013; Koryak v. Russia , no. 24677/10 , 13 November 2012 and many others). For additional details see Appendix.
One of the applicants ( case no. 48136/15 ) raised an additional complaint related to inadequate conditions of detention under Article 3 of the Convention akin to Ananyev and Others v. Russia , nos. 42525/07 and 60800/08 , 10 January 2012 .
COMMON QUESTIONS tO THE PARTIES
1. The Government are requested to produce a typed copy of the applicants ’ complete medical records drawn up after their arrest, and, if available, copies of expert reports and secondary opinions from medical specialists assessing the applicants ’ health, the quality of the treatment afforded to them during the detention and laying down medical procedures which should have been or should be performed to maintain their health.
2. Taking into account the applicants ’ medical history, have the authorities met their obligation to ensure that that their health and well-being are being adequately secured by, among other things, providing them with the requisite medical assistance (see McGlinchey and Others v. the United Kingdom , no. 50390/99, § 46, ECHR 2003-V), as required by Article 3 of the Convention, in the present case?
