SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application concerns the investigation conducted by the Spanish authorities into the applicant ’ s allegations of having been subjected to treatment contrary to Article 3 of the Convention at the hands of the police. The applicant had been detained for membership in a terrorist organisation on account of his alleged links with EKIN .
