SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE
The applicant, a former prosecutor, was dismissed from his job following several publications by his former partner in the newspaper about their conjugal life issues.
The applicant ’ s civil action against the newspaper and his partner was successful, but the courts dismissed his claims for pecuniary and non ‑ pecuniary damages.
The applicant also brought proceedings against his employer and asked for reinstatement in his position. By a final decision of 6 June 2013 the Supreme Court dismissed his claim.

Has there been an interference with the applicant ’ s right to respect for his private life, within the meaning of Article 8 § 1 of the Convention, as a result of his dismissal from the prosecuting authorities because of his conjugal life problems? If so, was that interference in accordance with the law and necessary in terms of Article 8 § 2?
