SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application concerns a decision to place the applicant ’ s son in foster care and limit her right to contact with her son to two hours, six times yearly.

Under Article 8 of the Convention the applicant submits that the above entailed a violation of her right to respect for private life .

QUESTION tO THE PARTIES

Has there been a violation of the applicant ’ s right to respect for her family life contrary to Article 8 of the Convention, through the authorities ’ decision to place her son in foster care and limit her right to contact with her son to two hours, six times yearly (see, for example, K. and T. v. Finland [GC], no. 25702/94, ECHR 2001 ‑ VII )?
