SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application concerns the applicant ’ s complaint under Article 6 §§ 1 and 3 (c) of the Convention that he had not been advised of his right to a lawyer nor given access to a lawyer before and while the authorities were conducting certain investigative actions, including interviews, with him in the course of a criminal investigation concerning allegations of bribery.

QUESTION TO THE PARTIES

Did the applicant have a fair hearing in the determination of the criminal charges against him, in accordance with Article 6 § 1 of the Convention and in light of the procedural guarantees afforded by Article 6 § 3 (c) of this provision? In particular was the applicant ’ s right to a lawyer respected in the course of the investigative actions cond ucted with him on 25 and 26 May 2011?
