The Committee of Ministers, under the terms of Article 32
(art. 32) of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights
and Fundamental Freedoms (hereinafter referred to as "the
Convention"),
Having regard to the report drawn up by the European
Commission of Human Rights in accordance with Article 31
(art. 31) of the Convention relating to the application lodged
on 20 December 1982 by Mr Mario Savoldi against Italy
(Application No. 10253/83);
Having regard to Resolution DH(90)11 of 14 May 1990,
Resolution DH(91)21 of 27 September 1991 and Resolution DH(92)4
of 20 February 1992 concerning the present case;
Whereas the Government of Italy informed the Committee of
Ministers that in execution of Resolution DH(92)4 adopted on
20 February 1992 the Italian authorities ordered on 30 April 1992
payment to the applicant of a total sum of 125 million Italian
lire by way of just satisfaction;
Whereas the Committee of Ministers satisfied itself that on
28 May 1992 the Government of Italy paid the said sum to the
applicant,
Declares, after having taken note of the measures taken by
the Government of Italy, that it has exercised its functions
under Article 32 (art. 32) of the Convention in this case.
