Length of civil proceedings: friendly settlement
The case concerns the length of defamation proceedings brought by the applicant in November 1988. The proceedings ended in October 1997.
The parties have reached a friendly settlement providi ng for payment to the applicant of 50,000 Danish kroner (DKK), to cover any pecuniary and non-pecuniary damage as well as costs.
