Reasonable time

Length of civil proceedings: friendly settlement

The case concerns the length of civil proceedings.

The parties have reached a friendly settlement providing for payment to the applicants of a total amount of 59 million lire (ITL), made up o f 54 million lire in respect of non-pecuniary damage (21 million lire for the first applicant and 11 million lire for each of the other three applicants) and 5 million lire in respect of costs and expenses (1,250,000 lires per applicant).
