Application no. 34961/21 Anastasiya Vladimirovna DENISOVA and Ilona Leonidovna BERNGARDT against Russia (see appended table)
The European Court of Human Rights (Third Section), sitting on 10 March 2022 as a Committee composed of:

Having regard to the above application lodged on 20 June 2021,
Having deliberated, decides as follows:
FACTS AND PROCEDURE
The list of the applicants is set out in the appendix.
The applicants are mother and daughter. Complaints concerning a situation of alleged domestic violence were communicated to the Russian Government.
By letter of 11 February 2022 the applicants informed the Registry that they did not wish that the Court pursue the examination of the application. They stated that they had never signed the application form lodged allegedly on their behalf by a third party.
THE LAW
In the light of the foregoing, the Court concludes that the applicants may be regarded as not wishing to pursue the application (Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention). Furthermore, in accordance with Article 37 § 1 in fine , the Court finds no special circumstances regarding respect for human rights as defined in the Convention and the Protocols thereto which require the continued examination of the application.
Accordingly, the case should be struck out of the list.
For these reasons, the Court, unanimously,
Decides to strike the application out of its list of cases.
