Having regard to the above application lodged on 8 April 2015,

Having deliberated, decides as follows:

FACTS AND PROCEDURE

The applicant, Mr Zoran Prpić , is a Croatian national, who was born in 1969 and lives in Zagreb. He was initially represented before the Court by Mr I. Gregović , and subsequently Mr I.F. Gregović , both lawyers practising in Zagreb.

The Croatian Government (“the Government”) were represented by their Agent, Ms Š. Stažnik .

The applicant complained under Article 10 of the Convention that his dismissal from work on account of his statements in the media had violated his freedom of expression.

On 27 November 2020 the applicant ’ s representative informed the Court that the applicant wanted to withdraw the application.

THE LAW

In the light of the foregoing, and in the absence of any special circumstances regarding respect for the rights guaranteed by the Convention or its Protocols, the Court, in accordance with Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention, considers that it is no longer justified to continue the examination of the application.

In view of the above, it is appropriate to strike the case out of the list.

For these reasons, the Court, unanimously,

Decides to strike the application out of its list of cases.
