REGULATION (EEC) No 1524/70 OF THE COUNCIL of 20 July 1970 on the conclusion of an Agreement between the European Economic Community and Spain and on the provisions for its implementation THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, and in particular Article 113 thereof; Having regard to the proposal from the Commission; Whereas the Agreement, signed at Luxembourg on 29 June 1970, between the European Economic Community and Spain should be concluded and the Declarations annexed to the Final Act, signed at Luxembourg on the same date, should be approved; Whereas the Community representatives on the Joint Committee established by the Agreement should be designated, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION: Article 1 The Agreement between the European Economic Community and Spain, its Annexes, the Protocol thereto and the Declarations annexed to the Final Act are concluded, approved and confirmed on behalf of the Community. The texts of the Agreement and of the Final Act are annexed to this Regulation. Article 2 The President of the Council of the European Communities shall, on behalf of the Community, issue the notification that the procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Agreement have been completed, pursuant to Article 9 of the Agreement (1). (1) The date of entry into force of the Agreement between the European Economic Community and Spain will be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities. Article 3 The Community shall be represented on the Joint Committee, provided for in Article 13 of the Agreement, by the Commission, assisted by representatives of the Member States. Article 4 This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. REGULATION (EEC) No 1524/70 OF THE COUNCIL of 20 July 1970 on the conclusion of an Agreement between the European Economic Community and Spain and on the provisions for its implementation
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,
Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, and in particular Article 113 thereof;
Having regard to the proposal from the Commission;
Whereas the Agreement, signed at Luxembourg on 29 June 1970, between the European Economic Community and Spain should be concluded and the Declarations annexed to the Final Act, signed at Luxembourg on the same date, should be approved;
Whereas the Community representatives on the Joint Committee established by the Agreement should be designated,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
The Agreement between the European Economic Community and Spain, its Annexes, the Protocol thereto and the Declarations annexed to the Final Act are concluded, approved and confirmed on behalf of the Community.
The texts of the Agreement and of the Final Act are annexed to this Regulation.
Article 2
The President of the Council of the European Communities shall, on behalf of the Community, issue the notification that the procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Agreement have been completed, pursuant to Article 9 of the Agreement (1).
