SECOND SECTION

Application no. 57985/10 Özgür Azad İNCİ against Turkey lodged on 1 September 2010

SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application mainly concerns the lack of legal assistance to the applicant during his police custody (see Salduz v. Turkey [GC], no. 36391/02, 27 November 2008).

QUESTION TO THE PARTIES

Having regard to his conviction on 31 March 2010 (decision no. 2009/19520 E and 2010/3697 K), has there been a breach of Article 6 § 3 (c) of the Convention as a result of the lack of legal assistance available to the applicant during his detention in police custody between 9 and 20 October 1999 (see Salduz v. Turkey [GC], no. 36391/02, §§ 45 ‑ 63, 27 November 2008)?
