STATEMENT OF FACTS

The applicant, a Lebanese national, arrived in Sweden in 2007. His application s for asylum, claiming that , due to legal issues Lebanon and being Christian , he would face a real risk of being killed by Hezbollah if returned to his home country , were rejected by t he Swedish Migration Board and, upon appeal , by the migration courts .

The applicant complains under Article 3 of the Convention that , if he were to be expelled to Lebanon , he would risk being killed by Hezbollah due to legal issues in that country and because he is Christian .

QUESTION

In the light of the applicant ’ s claims and the documents which have been submitted, would he face a risk of being subjected to treatment in breach of Article 3 of the Convention if the expulsion order were enforced?
