SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE
The application concerns the conviction of the applicant for six counts of disseminating propaganda in favour of the PKK, an illegal armed organisation, under section 7 § 2 of the Prevention of Terrorism Act, on account of his participation in six public meetings (demonstrations and concerts), during which he allegedly chanted slogans in favour of the PKK and its leader. The applicant relies on Articles 6, 10 and 11 of the Convention.
