SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application concerns proceedings in which the domestic authorities refused to lift the care order for the applicants ’ child and awarded the applicants contact rights of four hours, three times yearly.

Under Article 8 of the Convention, the applicants submit that the above entailed a disproportionate interference with their right to respect for family life.

QUESTION tO THE PARTIES

Did the proceedings complained of, which concerned the applicants ’ claim to have the care order for their child lifted and contact rights awarded, entail a disproportionate interference with their right to respect for family life under Article 8 of the Convention? (See, for example, K. and T. v. Finland [GC], no. 25702/94, ECHR 2001 ‑ VII.)
