FOURTH SECTION

Application no. 49049/18 Blanka ZÖLDI against Hungary lodged on 10 October 2018

SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE

The application concerns the unsuccessful efforts of the applicant, a journalist, to obtain information relating to the functioning and finances of two foundations created by the National Bank. Her court and constitutional actions were to no avail.

QUESTION TO THE PARTIES

Has there been an interference with the applicant ’ s right to receive information, within the meaning of Article 10 § 1 of the Convention? If so, was that interference necessary in terms of Article 10 § 2 (see Magyar Helsinki Bizottság v. Hungary [GC], no. 18030/11, 8 November 2016)?
