STATEMENT OF FACTS

The applicants are an Afghan family consisting of a mother and four adult daughters who applied for asylum in Sweden in 2011 and again in 2017 . Moreover, they argued that their rights to respect for their family life within the meaning of Article 8 § 1 of the Convention would also be breached if they were to be deported . Their applications were rejected by the Migration Agency and, upon appeal, by the migration courts .

On 9 March 2021 the Court indicated to the Government, under Rule 39 of its Rules, that the applicants should not be removed for the duration of the proceedings before the Court.
