SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE S

The applications concern the living conditions of the applicants, unaccompanied minors at the time they lodged their applications with the Court, and the placement in protective custody of the applicant in application no. 11588/20. The applicants allege that they were homeless, that no food was provided to them and that no legal guardian was appointed for them.

QUESTIONS TO THE PARTIES

1. Having regard to the fact that the applicants are unaccompanied minors, and that according to their allegations they were homeless, with no legal guardian appointed for them and without access to medical assistance, were their living conditions compatible with Article 3 and/or Article 8 of the Convention?

2. In respect of application no. 11588/20, having regard to the requirements of Article 5 § 1 of the Convention, was the applicant ’ s placement in protective custody at a police station lawful?
