Length of civil proceedings: friendly settlement
The case concerns the length of civil proceedings brought by the applicant in November 1987 and still pending in March 1999.
The parties have reached a friendly settlement providing for paym ent to the applicant of 39 million lire (ITL), made up of 37 million lire in respect of non-pecuniary damage and two million lire in respect of costs and expenses.
