***** COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 166/89 of 24 January 1989 amending Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 on the common organization of the market in cereals THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Having regard to Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 of the Council on the common organization of the market in cereals (1), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2221/88 (2), and in particular Article 16 (6) thereof, Whereas Annex B to Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 lists goods which may qualify for an export refund for the cereals they contain; Whereas that Annex does not include certain products obtained from cereal glucose; whereas those products are in competition with products obtained from sugar qualifying for the export refund provided for by the market organization in sugar; Whereas provision should accordingly be made for the said products to qualify for the export refund also by extending Annex B to Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Cereals, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION: Article 1 Annex B to Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 is hereby replaced by the Annex hereto. Article 2 This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. amending Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 on the common organization of the market in cereals
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,
Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,
Having regard to Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 of the Council on the common organization of the market in cereals (1), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2221/88 (2), and in particular Article 16 (6) thereof,
Whereas Annex B to Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 lists goods which may qualify for an export refund for the cereals they contain;
Whereas that Annex does not include certain products obtained from cereal glucose; whereas those products are in competition with products obtained from sugar qualifying for the export refund provided for by the market organization in sugar;
Whereas provision should accordingly be made for the said products to qualify for the export refund also by extending Annex B to Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75;
Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Cereals,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
Annex B to Regulation (EEC) No 2727/75 is hereby replaced by the Annex hereto.
Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
